Give The Girls Their Flowers: Chelsea Hannah

CEO & Founder/Visionary/Builder of Experiences

All of the life lessons and experiences I’ve had led me to this point, and I’d applaud myself for my strength and resilience through life’s challenges and obstacles.

For Chelsea Hannah, success isn’t about where you start—it’s about how you bloom. As the CEO & Founder of Vessel Experiential, she’s built a career creating unforgettable brand experiences, turning visions into reality, and proving that greatness can rise from any environment.

She sees herself as a lotus flower—a bloom that thrives even in murky waters. “No mud, no lotus,” she says, reflecting on how she’s navigated challenges and turned them into stepping stones.

In this feature, Chelsea opens up about her entrepreneurial journey, the power of community, and why the best investment she’s ever made is in herself.

Let’s get into it.

TIME IS A LUXURY

〰️

TIME IS A LUXURY 〰️

Q: If your life was a novel, what would the title be?
Chelsea: “Being Chelsea”

Q: If you could describe yourself as a flower, which one would it be and why?
Chelsea: “A lotus flower. Lotus’ grow in muddy environments, yet still bloom untouched. Although there are things I’ve gone through in life and the environment I grew up in wasn’t ideal, I still have made the best out of life and bloomed. “No mud, no lotus”

Q: What’s a song that instantly makes you feel like that girl?
Chelsea:“Bossy - Kelis”

Q: What’s a small luxury you refuse to live without?
Chelsea: “Spending time with family is a small luxury that people don’t realize is. Time is a luxury and the way you spend it is important. Family time fuels me, it revitalizes me and hopefully the ones I spend it with.”

Q: What’s a lesson you learned the hard way, but you’re grateful for?
Chelsea: “My nana gave me the book Four Agreements specifically to read the chapter on taking things personally. I’m such an intuitive and emotional person so I tend to take things personally but over time I’ve learned *at least I think I have* to do a better job at this.”

Q: Who in your life has truly given you your flowers (figuratively or literally)?
Chelsea: “My friends. I have a strong sisterhood of amazing friends and we are constantly pouring into each other, and giving each other our flowers. I would also add my boyfriend, and my family as figuratively and literally. I am truly blessed with a circle of people that support me wholeheartedly.”

Q: What’s a fear you’ve conquered that you’re most proud of?
Chelsea: “Entrepreneurship.”

NO MUD. NO LOTUS

〰️

NO MUD. NO LOTUS 〰️

Q:What’s a fictional character (from a book, TV, or film) you know you’d be besties with?
Chelsea: “Raven from That’s so Raven. I feel like I’m intuitive and and clairvoyant in some ways. She’s also just goofy and silly and her bestfriend on the show was named Chelsea, just like me. ”

Q: What’s the best compliment you’ve ever received?
Chelsea: “The best compliment I’ve ever received would be around my intelligence or my motivation.”

Q: If you could have a two-hour conversation with any woman (alive or passed), who would it be and what would you ask her?
Chelsea: “If I could have a two hour conversation with any woman it would be my maternal grandmother. Unfortunately, she passed away before I was born but I would love to speak to her. I would ask her about motherhood, what her life was like, her aspirations in life, her faith, her favorite songs, her favorite books, favorite color, how she overcame obstacles in life. So many things. I feel so connected to her already but I would just want to hug her and talk to her.

Q:What’s something you love that people wouldn’t expect?
Chelsea: “Chocolate! I’m a huge chocolate lover and need it almost every single day. Especially dark chocolate”

Q: If you could give yourself flowers for something you’ve done lately, what would it be?
Chelsea: “I would give myself flowers for prioritizing my mental, spiritual, emotional and physical health through this new season of my life. This new season includes me taking a step out on faith and going into entrepreneurship which truly scared me. I’d also give myself flowers for starting this new business because although I was scared of it, I manifested and worked towards this for a long time subconsciously and consciously. All of the life lessons and experiences I’ve had led me to this point, and I’d applaud myself for my strength and resilience through life’s challenges and obstacles.

Q:What’s one thing you want more women to believe about themselves?
Chelsea: “I want women to believe that there is no destination in life and we already have it within us to be who we want to be and where we want to be. We work so hard towards the next thing and often thinking “if only we had this or if only we looked like this”, aiming for something to level us up without realizing It’s within us already. This is even something I want to believe more.”

I already have everything within me to be who I want to be.

For Chelsea, success isn’t about chasing the next big thing—it’s about realizing that you already have everything you need within you. She’s built a career, a community, and a legacy by taking chances, betting on herself, and knowing that growth happens even in the toughest environments.

And if there’s one thing she wants every woman to believe, it’s this:

"You already have everything within you to be who you want to be. Stop chasing external validation."
