Give The Girls Their Flowers: Butta

Artist | Creative | The Real Fly Girl

When I get in my bag, I don’t know when to stop …. I was deadass when I said that.

For Butta, music isn’t just about the sound—it’s about energy, movement, and showing up exactly as you are. Whether she’s performing, creating, or just getting fly, she does it with effortless cool and an undeniable presence.

Her main-character moment hit after a show when a fan she had never met asked to take a picture with her. “In my head, I was like… me??” she remembers. It was a reminder that sometimes, you don’t even realize the impact you’re making.

With her signature mix of style, humor, and authenticity, Butta proves that when you stay true to yourself, the right people will always find you.

When I get in my bag... 〰️

Q: If your life was a novel, what would the title be?
Butta: “The chronicles of a real fly girl”

Q: What’s a moment in your life that felt like a main-character moment?
Butta: “After I perform i'm always going into the crowd and interacting with everyone but one time after I finished performing someone had walked up to me and asked if they could take a picture with me. In my head I was like…me??? I didn’t even know them from anywhere and they had said that they had listened to me all the time. I can’t lie that made me smile, i’ll never forget that day.”

Q: If you could describe yourself as a flower, which one would it be and why?
Butta: “Maybe a Rose or a Sunflower.”

Q: What’s a song that instantly makes you feel like that girl?
Butta: “Doesn’t Really Matter by me of course :)… The song starts out with me saying “when i get in my bag I don’t know when to stop”… I was deadass when i said that. ”

Q: What’s your go-to “romanticize your life” activity?
Butta: “Some fly shit, anything that involves getting fly is romantic and therapeutic for me.”

You never know who’s watching and actually f*ck’s with what you’re doing

Q: If your younger self saw you today, what’s the first thing she’d say? Would she gag?
Butta: “She would be dumb hype and probably try to get low on a couple pairs of my sneakers and I’d have to put her in a headlock. All in all she’d be happy cause we are everything we thought we would be.”

Q: What’s something people assume about you that’s totally wrong?
Butta: “When people meet me they’re always surprised that I don’t smoke or drink. I don’t know if I give off stoner but I don’t do any drugs guys. It’s actually embarrassing how drunk I get off of 1 shot.”

Q: What’s a small luxury you refuse to live without?
Butta: “A good pair of socks. I love socks.”

See you at the top tho,

Q: What’s a lesson you learned the hard way, but you’re grateful for?
Butta: Discernment! learning when and how to use my discernment was tough for me but taught me everything that I needed.

Q: What’s one piece of advice you’d give to someone who doubted you?
Butta: “No advice, see you at the top tho juheardddddd”

Q: What’s a fear you’ve conquered that you’re most proud of?
Butta: “Putting myself out there. You never know who’s watching and actually fucks with what you’re doing.”

It’s actually embarrassing how drunk I get off of 1 shot.

Q: What’s the best compliment you’ve ever received?
Butta “I love when people tell me that I smell good.

Q: What’s a fictional character (from a book, TV, or film) you know you’d be besties with?
Butta: “Hey Arnold simply off of his room. I thought that his room was mad cool and i want my room to look like that.

Q: If someone made a bouquet based on your energy, what flowers absolutely have to be in it?
Butta: “Some bright shit. I need the whole 9, sunflowers, roses all that.

Q:What’s something you love that people wouldn’t expect?
Butta: “I love miniature things, like tiny cities, legos.”

Q: If you could give yourself flowers for something you’ve done lately, what would it be?
Butta: “Going to therapy. That was a big thing for me to do and i’m seeing so much good things happen from it. I’m starting to feel better every day and that’s because I chose to take care of my mental health!

The chronicles of a real fly girl.

For Butta, confidence isn’t just a mindset—it’s the key to success. Whether she’s making music, connecting with fans, or just getting fly, she does it on her own terms.

She’s learned that putting yourself out there is half the battle—and that the right people will always recognize real energy.

As she continues to grow as an artist, she carries one belief with her:

"You never know who’s watching and actually f*cks with what you’re doing."
